At least now, there are clear criteria for baggage in that all bags are to be on the belt within 20 minutes after the flight is completed and bags with the yellow priority tags are to be off loaded first. If the first criteria is not met, it's an online form, if the second criteria is not met, it's a complaint.

For the record...
I did not complain about the ice-cold plate and the hot burrito with any expectation of being compensated. Did not ask for compensation. My request was that they re-train the FA. The fact that I got CM's made me curious. I own a business. If one of my employees fails to met my customer's expectations I would prefer that they tell me rather than just buying from my competitor. This complaint was in that category: A service failure well within the control of the employee. If you are going to serve hot food it should be on a less-than-ice-cold plate. If you can heat the wet towels you can heat the plates. |

That's not so clear. Aircraft have limited oven space and no extra space in the galley to install plate warmers. AFAIK hot moist towels are created by pouring some hot water onto a tray of rolled towels. Alternatively, they could be put into the oven long before the FAs begin heating the dinners.
I found it interesting and amazing that the towels was not overly soaked when they were handed to me. |

I don't think anyone here thinks this is a fraudulent complaint. A TRIVIAL complaint - YES!
Besides, what, exactly, is a fraudulent complaint? This would be very easy to do; for example IFE seems to garner a lot of CS miles. A fraudulent complaint would be to tell Delta your IFE was broken when it wasn't. I'm not sure if this would always work, it is just an example of a fraudulent complaint. |
