I know DL IT is bad, but this is crazy. I'm still getting alerts from DL for my original SJC-ATL flight that apparently it is now back running, but sceduled departure is 30 minutes late! dl.com confirms 30 minutes late. But SMS says it's now due to depart at 2:35am. Flightstats confirms inbound ship is 140 minutes late.

DL needs to get their information synced! I'm sticking with MSP !

It was bad this morning, but now it's just cold again. The roads were pretty bad through rush hour. The airport had over six inches of snow this morning, mostly in a four hour period around the morning rush hour.

Still in Wisconsin after 2 days of cancelled flights.
Wednesday (1/29) flight MKE-ATL cancelled after my ride had driven half of the 2 hour drive back home. Was able to change to ATW-ATL (only a 20 minute drive) for today (1/30) @ 4:53pm. Was so hopeful since flight was only 26 minutes delayed @ 4:20 (plane was in the air coming from ATL). Then @ 4:30 flight cancelled due to lack of a flight attendant! Now on ATW-ATL @ 4:53 Friday (1/31). All this traveling with a 2 1/2 year old!
Since today's cancellation wasn't weather related I asked TA about compensation (he was quite frazzled from being only one @ counter), only got a shoulder shrug.
I intend to call customer service about refunds (econ comfort & baggage fees). Any advice on what amount compensation to ask for (vouchers or Skymiles)?

If everyone keeps the agents on the phone for 90 minutes, the wait times are bound to be enormous.

It is not the weather anymore but rather the results of DL cutting everything. My flight DEN-ATL got delayed by 10 hours and the plane was only 45 min late. The ground operations prioritized us to be dead last because they did not have enough crew to handle planes.

...and why do you think crew is out of rotation? why do you think crew is stuck?......why is crew needing minimum rest and non-scheduled times?

hmmmm....the weather in ATL, maybe?

If some would stop trying to be Sherlock Holmes and break news about "lying" and other inflammatory crappery, and just THINK, you'd probably get a lot further in their travels, their happiness, and their life.

My bad, I was told the reason for my delay was weather in MSP. I was re-routed via DTW and got home an hour earlier

....um....the OP did get a flight through MSP.

Has there ever been a SJC-MEM, SJC-CVG, SJC-DTW?

Three stops SFO-TPA

I made it out through MSP and am on the 2nd leg into FLL. The guy next to me on SFO-MSP was on his first of four legs to get to TPA! SFO-MSP-Witchita then I forget the 3rd place and finally onto TPA. This is best DL could come up with. Quite a mileage run I guess!

PS - it was the final leg into FLL that made it hard to pull off this re-route. All flights to FLL and MIA were sold out. Probably could have done SFO-JFK and got an upgrade to BE as it was wide open last night. But zero seats out of JFK or LGA to FLL today.
