Given that there are usually few, if any, alternative providers on the west coast routes other than perhaps Southwest that provide a comparable solution to the typical core need -- getting from here to there as simply and quickly as possible and at the lowest possible price -- neither airline needs worry about the soft goods. Southwest has no lounges.

They are technically a partner at this point. August 2, 2016

OK, I admit, the partnership is healthy and strong and not likely to end. Ever, apparently, if they can make it through the bumps of the past three years...

  • BTN (Business Travel News): Is Delta Air Lines still a partner as well?
  • Sprague: They are technically a partner at this point.

The winner!

Well, the moment has arrived (or at least been announced).

The winner of this friendly little contest: Air Houston (prediction 9/30/2016)

Your case of absolutely nothing will be shipped to you shortly!

Honorable mention:

javabytes - Predicted May 1, but no year
OP - Predicted May 1. 2014... missed it by 3 years

Hmm, I have an itinerary in late May that includes a segment on Alaska.

Too bad AS isn't booting me off the flight. A free change would have been amazing for this trip.
