I'm sure you're right. And Saturday was a mess of lines, including SkyPriority, so I imagine DL was trying to keep the Sky Priority services from being overwhelmed with regular passengers. The line to drop a bag as a Sky Priority member was quite lengthy so lengthy they were repeatedly paging Red Coats to the counter to help clear the backlog.

Kind of embarrassing, actually.

Wow, I've never seen long lines for DL SkyPriority at MSP, although I don't often use the counter or kiosks.

This was the first time I'd used the Sky Priority line since hitting GM back in September, but all the other times through the terminal I didn't remember seeing a line. It was past the kiosks and around the ropes back to where the Pre/SP security entrance is.

This sounds like the day the PMNW computer network crashed and agents were checking bags with hand written tags for those who had already printed their boarding passes. That was a mess with long lines for elite and premium cabin passengers.

I am flying out of MSP weekly and there is almost always a line dragon controlling access to SP check in / bag drop. Another line dragon then checks SP / Pre when accessing the TSA circus.
