I'm sure you're right. And Saturday was a mess of lines, including SkyPriority, so I imagine DL was trying to keep the Sky Priority services from being overwhelmed with regular passengers. The line to drop a bag as a Sky Priority member was quite lengthy — so lengthy they were repeatedly paging Red Coats to the counter to help clear the backlog.
Kind of embarrassing, actually.
