Love that you guys are tracking these flights, as I likely will be an A330 for the first time next summer.

Is there any chance that the original poster/moderator could include the dates for completed planes? I like that you have the start dates, but it would be great in the completed planes had something like (Sept 5 - Sept 29).

I would be nice to see which mods have gone according to schedule and if any are taking longer or going quicker.

Thanks.... I appreciate the work.

Good idea - done. Keep in mind, the operation at SIN does other things, and the time in the shop is not necessarily just for the mods project, but other periodic maintenance needs - which would vary from ship to ship.

Replacing corroded seat tracks can be a big variable on A330 coming into SASCO.

Speaking of this, I wonder if DL did some of this inspection on the non-AVOD PMDL 752s and the unmodded 763ERs. If anyone remembers when seats were coming out of their tracks on AA's 757s with the old Weber seats (non-slimline), DL uses the same model of seat on their non-AVOD PMDL 752s and unmodded 763ERs.

Seat track corrosion is always checked during routine heavy maintenance.

Routes the new interior A330-300 is flying

Since August 30th, the only routes that the A333 with the new interior (N801NW) has been flying are the following five.

ATL-HNL
ATL-FCO
JFK-FCO
JFK-BCN
JFK-ATH

Two more A333s with the new interior (N819NW & N807NW) should be flying in the next week or so. Does anybody know if they be used on just the above routes as well?

Flying the A333 back from HNL in November, would love to check out the new interior!

According to the DL website, A333 is scheduled to return for SEA-NRT. That means the mod A333s will be flying between SEA and NRT.

Having recently been on one of the freshly mod'ed 332 (less than 10 days after it came out of mod's) couple of perspectives.

1) Cabin crew are still getting used to the new A/C particular shift of activity focus in forward galley to galley at doors 2L/2R. This also means if you are rows 7 in the small rear biz cabin, you may notice more activity (or not).

2) The lav's for biz cabin are now located up near the cockpit, one was there before, another added almost directly center behind the cockpit. This means if you are towards rear of biz cabin, you go all the way forward (unless blocked for cockpit crew use) or back to around door 3R/3L in the main cabin. Either way, not bad as it also means there is no longer a Lav near door 2R (less activity) however more cabin crew activity in the galley there.

3) The bulk head seats (two bulkheads on 332, front and rear biz cabins) have lots of space for setting things, granted not during take off/landings. For example somewhere to put your pillow, news paper items.

4) Seat is comfortable, more so IMHO than what they replaced, there were some "quirks" in the controls which may have been just a matter of getting used to.

5) There is a side slide out table / tray with flip extension that has a swing motion which was nice. However either could not figure out how to make the table slide forward back, or it simply can not do that. Would be nice to have been able to slide the table forward, back (think previous generaitions of tables/trays) more vs. simply swing out of way.

6) What I dont like about the new seats/config which is the same with the 764s is lack of space to put my backpack/briefcase/bag in front at my feet. Sure there was plenty of overhead space, tried the putting it at my feet on the foot rest and other things. Not a fan of leaving it on floor next to seat adjacent to the aisle (not blocking anything or in danger of being run over by cart).

7) Personal preference, at least from an aisle seat perspective, getting in and out of the previous generations of seats seemed easier, roomier, however once settled in for a long flight, new config much nicer.

8) Wishful thinking, while there is some privacy between person next to you in the center section nice for when you want to visit, talk, etc, would also be nice to have a small adjustable privacy screen. This was particular noticeable when adjacent seat video screen stowed (size of these is much bigger and nicer as well) thus more in-line with your field of view.

Otherwise beyond lack of place to put bag at feet, like and prefer the new configs, look forward to next trip.

I am on DL 267 tomorrow AMS-BOS and it looks like they switched it to a modded 332 based on the seat map. I am in 11G, so long leg room.

I checked N 851,2,3 on flightaware and none of them show assigned to this route, but I guess that could be glitch.

Guess: Suspect you might be victim of KLM's systems now in control of the seat map for tomorrow's AMS-BOS. Flightaware has N861NW operating your flight on 12 Oct. With regards to AMS operations, DL hand off their flights to KLM's systems, and DL seat maps are no longer current - approx 24-48 hours prior to departure (can't remember the exact time). Anyway, I think that's how it works.

Looks like N806NW is due for AMS-BOM later today, so I am assuming that is the next one headed to Singapore. As stated 807 supposed to do the return leg to take its place.

Hmm, could be. DL.com shows the new seat map as well as KLM, but it won't let me select 10G, or check in for that matter. EF won't display the seat map, just "airport checkin only" so I guess I'll just wait until I get to AMS.

Does EF show availability in BE? What you're seeing might also indicate that the flight is overbooked in BE for some reason.
