Delta.com overhaul

Looks like DL.com has been completely overhauled. Completely new home page, itinerary view, etc... most of the other static content has also been replaced, and old bookmarks don't seem to work anymore. At first glance, seems to be the same booking engine on both the revenue and SM side. Still trying to decide if I like it.

However...

I was also compelled to create a real password at first login. ^

And it also told me the exact reason why I couldn't check in online. ^

I tried to log into the mobile DL.com and was directed to the new web-site design. How are we supposed to book tickets on a Smartphone now? The iPhone app won't allow it. Am I missing something?

Edit: Never mind. The mobile DL.com is now functional. It too has a new look.

Same booking engine. Lot of new stuff behind scenes though. Site may revert back to old one soon..

Does NOT look good in Chrome. Font is smudgy.

Still does not show destination. A MR is ATL-ATL with 5 stops.

Well, if you don't have any stops longer than 4 hours, ATL would be your destination. Before, it would show the first connecting city as your destination, so this is new. The destinations on most of my itins have updated and look better now (except for one complicated MR).

I'm pro the new site and pro the new design. If some links are broken, at least give them until 6 a.m. to fix them... :-)

Now, if only we could get them to fix the booking engine!

Looks horrid on my iPad. Has a status bar in the middle of the page that blocks you from buttons, etc.

Now that I'm logged in, I do not dislike it, although it seems a bit busy from a small screen. I like the pie chart.

I like the new site. Opened fine on Chrome (Desktop and Android). Font could render better, but I guess they will fix it.

Hope they are renewing the backend too!

The new "save international information" wouldn't accept my passport number though: It needs one digit more than what my passport has!

At first I thought it looked quite ugly.

(Chrome/Mac/OS x 10.7.5)

But, it's growing on me.

It's just a matter of finding where everything is now.

It's clear that advertising is super important to DL....since it's everywhere!

WOAH! This is sorta cool. Is the award calendar fixed?? Or is this delta.dumb 2.0

I do like that you can see seat availability (basic availability, not blocked seats, etc.), including F class, from the seatmap when you view your current seats. -- WOW... the new seatmaps (click "Aircraft Details") are amazing!

This is pretty cool!!

Need to use it a little more before I offer my opinion, but my initial observation is that it runs pretty slowww on my computer (in Chrome).
