+1

Same for on the planes... need to specifically order Woodford and not "bourbon".

The distinction is a marketing distinction only. Jack Daniels meets every requirement to be called bourbon.

Legally? Sure. Yet they insist it is not for marketing purposes.

For me, bourbon not made in Kentucky isn't bourbon.

SFO poured Woodford last time I was there... back in July

I can assure you it is not a rumour about the IND Skyclub serving Woodford. They do without charge.

In checking the FAQ's on Jack Daniel's website, they clearly state that Jack is not a Bourbon. I am not a fan of Jack Daniels as I prefer Woodford, Maker's or Jim Beam over Jack. Glad to see some SC's still serve Woodford and Beam.

As far as AA goes, I am a former AA EXP million miler and had to switch to DL when I moved to Florida several years ago. I resisted at first and tried to stay loyal to AA who at the time was still offering a very good FC product especially on TATL & TPAC routes. But AA didn't have enough flights in my market to make it worth the effort. After switching to DL and paying my dues to build up my status, I can agree with most on this thread that DL offers a much better experience overall including SC's over Admiral's Clubs.
