MQM Valuation Based on Fare Paid Now Showing on Delta.com

Have been looking up tickets and it looks like LUT fares are calculating at 25%, H at 75%, and YBM at the usual 150%

Tried this on a few routes.

Anyone else seeing the same thing?

Is this possibly IT gearing up for the rumored changes?

Yup - just tried to book a flight for next week and that's what I am seeing.

Nice enhancement.

I tested a couple routes and see the same results. LUT fares come up at 25% and MQM come up at 25% of that. For instance I checked BOS-ATL-LAS then LAS-MSP-BOS and it shows 1279 miles earned and 319 MQM earned on a U fare.

This has got to be an IT issue. If not it's the biggest de-valuation of the program to date.

It was a tough decision, but it was the right one.

Really? Why would MQMs be 25% of 25%. They wouldn't.....just the 25% would get the job done that DL NEEDS to do with its "elite" program.

I am sure it is just an IT issue.

Yikes!

PIT/JFK/LAX One-way in T . . .

Miles earned = 703
MQMs earned = 175

When you click on "Details" . . . .

PIT/JFK 85 Miles & 21 MQMs!!!

JFK/LAX 618 Miles & 154 MQMs!!!

I guess they're testing the waters again!

Called in and res said they are aware of the issue and it is not correct, though surely this is a definite sign of things to come...

Oh, I hope they go to a reduced earning on LUT. Thin the herd. I just don't think MQMs would be 25% of 25%.

If you want major depression - go check out a long haul international flight like DTW-PVG on a cheap fare.

Phone agents are usually the last to know about FFP changes.@:-) My guess is that DL is system testing planned changes which may or may not be implemented.
