anybody know of any way besides the platinum deal to get 50k mr points? I have no real need for any of the platinum benefits, so the $450 is a little steep (although still worth if for the 75k plus 25kmqm)

I understand about the $450 but look at what you're getting...

* 75,000 SkyMiles

* Instant FO status

* Entrance to SkyClubs

* Free companion ticket

That's a lot of bang for the buck to me but YMMV.

Where's 50,000 Bonus?

Amex is known to run concurrent promos and often fails to link the right promo to your card.

Points guy link:Bonus ID 4986 and 4880
Deltagoldflyer link: Bonus ID 4880

I just want to confirm that both will get you the 50K points.
I'm hesitant to sign up for a credit card offer that does not specifically state the bonus points offered.

It there a link that clearly shows the 50,000 MR point bonus?

yea, not denying that it is worth it but i am greedy. I don't use entrance to skyclubs, i still have 2 passes from last year. Companion ticket i would never use, i still have mine from last year as well. I don't pay for checked bags, and have a ton of drink coupons for delta, so i wouldn't use the $200 in airline fee's a year either.

Just an FYI. Thanks Delta I missed last years, but this will make me a lock of PM this year!
Hope this works, I just followed the steps outlined, registered with Delta promos, followed the application link. I will report back once I spend the $1000 and transfer the MR points. ( I did the instant application and I already have a Delta Plat AMEX.)

What About The 30% Bonus

Can you delete the 30% Bonus Promo that could

screw up the 50% Bonus or just wait til it expires 3-31-11

They are both listed in my account

Its clearly mentioned over there:

https://www304.americanexpress.com/p...319-0/0/0/0/n/

50K MR bonus points after spending $1k in 3 months.

Does anyone know what could be the minimum FICO/credit karma score to get this approved? thanks.

will it work?

I used this promo last year, so I am not eligible. But my wife didn't. Would it work, if:

1) She will register her SM under this promo.
2) I transfer my 50K MR points to her Delta SM account
3) She will transfer her 50K MR points to her Delta SM account

Will she get 25K MQM from my transfer and 25 MQM from her transfer or not?

The promo wording seems to negate your ploy

Read it carefully

Not Always Possible

That's the way I feel about USeless (formerly Agony)

But unless Greyhound & Trailways are among your preferred

providers you don't always get your 1st choices

Junior Jets of any persuasion are the very lowest on my list

Have you added these links lately? Amex told me I couldn't transfer to a third party's SM account when I inquired last year. Either I got bad info, ornit was a stip that went into place after you did your links.

Ok, so just to confirm...

- Last promo I signed up myself and my daughter, transferred MR Points to my SM account and my daughters separately, we each got the bonus.

- We are now no longer eligible, but I could do this for my husband?

Correct?

iirc, there is a $100k income requirement for the card. I suspect there is a fico min as well, probably btw 680 and 700.
