a lot of code words around here you guys - for one, I don't know what RTW stands for, but as to dates, itineraries and prices comparison (indicative rates though, but some info still) I would recommend you this site for major lines relocation cruises http://www.repositioncruises.com/

btw, the repositioncruises.com doesn't sell repositioning cruise deals - it's just information there.

Fortunately, under the "Help" menu, there is a FlyerTalk Glossary; "RTW" is generally used to mean "(A)Round The World". "Repos" - here it means repositioning cruises - can often be had for bargain rates considering the services and amenities available and intercontinental travel. Not so good for those who cruise mostly for ports of call or demand a lot of stimulating activities, great for those who want ~two weeks to write, study, contemplate, enjoy a "minimoon", etc.

They cover the major cruise lines ships relocation cruises, and they even have the schedule of may be 90% of the Transatlantic repositioning cruises 2013 at this link which is about repositioning cruises from Europe to USA and from UK to Canada/New England - if "NA" signifies North America that is. The Transatlantic page has only departure dates and the cruise ports of departure/arrival, so for prices you have to go to the line's page there.

JDiver, another perfect option for "write-study-contemplate" cruisers are the cargo ship cruises - I've heard they could last up to a month, and even longer! )

Heh... freighter travel is another creature entirely. You can't be sure where you're going or when you'll get there. Sometimes itineraries are changed for business reasons. And you really need to be your own entertainment on these..."write-study-contemplate" is right! You won't be pampered and you won't get too much in the way of 'cuisine'. But if you want isolation at a good price, it's one heck of an experience.
