Still no luck with the holiday promo bonus points posting. Since the one before that posted with activity on account, I concur with the above poster who mentioned having to have activity on the account.

I see that my holiday promo bonus points were included in my latest visa statement (last week).

Olympic promotion is back...

I see on the Flexperks facebook page that US Bank is bringing back the Olympic medal promo for new accounts.

It is the typical 20,000 signup bonus, plus additional points based on the final US medal count. (500pts per gold medal, 250pts per silver, 100pts per bronze)

My last statement ended yesterday and I received my statement in email today. When can I expect to see the points from this statement post to my account? They appear in my statement but are not yet showing when I go to the rewards center.

Also, if I were to transfer points to my spouses flex perks account is the transfer still instantaneous?

Thank you! I searched the thread but most talk of point transfer was before it was disabled and then re enabled.

Also a heads up I received in my statement:

The Rewards Center will be unavailable from 3/18-3/24. You will not be able to make any reward redemptions during this time. This also includes redemptions placed with a call center representative. We appreciate your patience and apologize for any inconvenience.

It seems to take a day or two after the statement date for the points from that statement to appear on the flexperks site.

The few times I've done points transfers, yes they have always been immediate.

Booking Delta Tickets with US Bank FlexPerks

I'm looking at booking 2 tickets to Norway using FlexPerks. I'm a Delta Platinum SkyMiles member and I'm wondering if I can link my SkyMiles number to these tickets to be able to get access to priority seating, etc. I've never used my FlexPerks points before so I'm not sure whether I can do this or not so any advice is appreciated

I haven't booked flights using a Delta account but I've booked flights linking my United and American account numbers in the past. It should be the same. There's a place to type in your ff# when booking the flight. Just make sure you type in your ff# on Delta's site as well when you check in. I lost out on flight miles once when it didn't automatically link my ff# to my United account.

Benefits will all be honored. However, there is some debate on two areas:

(1) Do all FlexPerks fares award full MQMs? When you are on the booking review screen, right before final confirmation, you can hover over the links to the fare rules to see the actual complete fare codes. Sometimes those match "published fares" (as reported by KVS) and sometimes they don't. No one has reported an issue yet, but an unpublished fare might receive reduced MQMs per http://www.delta.com/content/www/en_...ial-fares.html

(2) No one has reported whether MQDs are awarded. However, let me be the first, as I just looked up a flight from December and it IS showing MQDs. Then again, I made sure it booked into a published fare, so see also #1.

I have a question regarding the charitable giving category on the card. Does anyone know of any combination of a cash back/miles portal (UPromise, Top Cash Back, Delta SkyMall, etc) and a charitable organization (or perhaps one that facilitates payments to many charities) in which cash back/miles/points can be earned for spending? The idea being to double dip with the 3x Flexpoints in addition to gaining some cash back/miles from a portal.

Just some advice to those considering signup due to bonus. Their search engine is powered by Travelocity but not as good as the real thing and not all flights are available. Bonuses will take forever to post. I would signup for this card but go into it knowing its not chase/united type quality & convenience. I just cancelled the card after about 5 years of it being my regular spend card.

Regarding Travelocity, the prices are not always an exact match either. Strange thing is a travelocity flight at $399 was priced by Flex as $410, so I was disappointed, even called and complained, and thought I would need to get the ticket using Citi TYP instead. But then LOL, a direct flight that I preferred that was priced at $410 on Trav, so I thought I had no chance, was priced under $400 on flex so I ended up getting a better flight.

I usually check prices on trav or I find Faregeek is very good to see broad choices over various days and you can limit results by duration, arrival time, etc. But the actual prices at Flex can be a bit different. Also, it doesn't appear Faregeek shows Delta flights, and of course there are always the SW flights you may want to lookup.

FYI, this is a good card and I have collected up tons of points. Points gathered through a Travelocity card is a great match up to this one. Travel pts redeem at 2 to 1 for flights over $400 in $400 increments. So a flight a bit over $400 use Trav pts. Flight a bit under use Flex. Same with a bit over $800 or a bit under $800. It is a like an exact opposite match to Flexperks. Flights not fitting well in the tiers use maybe Arrival pts or Citi TYP.

+1 haha.. I have both cards too and thought about this other day. I have cashed in about 80 travelocity points so far but only 20k flexperks.

They are similar in another respect: both issued by banks with terrible customer service :P

I got the arrival card recently too. Nothing beats the convenience of that card

I'm hoping to get 2nd flexperks card. I hope to see some data points.

I got the carlson biz in first week of Jan, so it could be tricky

I love Arrival for car rentals or meals charged to my room. For flights it is City TYP, Flexperks, Travelocity, or Airline Awards. Hotels are another good use of Arrival when you want to buy direct from chain to get promotions like stay twice get a free night certificate.

I have done 240K of Flexperks redemption and just started collecting Travelocity points. If Travelocity pts continue to be so easy to pick up, I may liquidate a lot of my Citi and Flex points and just make sure my flights are over $400. I was picking up 20K travelocity points for $16.40. Makes for a cheap $400 flight!
