Same here. Have had the card since NWA. Used all Flexperks last year but forgot to call within a month of annual fee posting. Annual fee just posted this year. Called to downgrade to Cash+. No question asked.

We had used Flexperks to book Air Seychelles tickets for intra-island flights from SEZ- PRI and of course we didnt get to get go. I tried to cancel the ticket and Air Seychelles told us to contact 'our travel agent' (Flexperks)....and I couldnt even get through to cancel. Is there a way to get those flexperks back now? The trip was in March....

I converted my Flexperks card to Cash+ by calling AR CS line. No wait on hold, no questions asked.

I am assuming the cash + visa signature card? Does your account number and all stay the same (i.e. no impact on your credit report)? Thx.

No, they gave me a different number, but It continues on the credit report as a previous card.

Had this account since NWA days. AF posted last week. As Flexperks, this is the first year that I couldn't get AF waiver (either $$ credit or points). As others have done, I requested account be converted to Cash + Visa Sig. I've been using the AR card and also have the no-fee Flexperks Amex.

I called and they said it would show up as a "converted card" on your credit report. Dont know what that means exactly. Can you confirm there is not another entry on your credit report for this downgraded card (i.e. original shows as closed and new ones shows up as a new entry?)

There is nothing different shown on my credit report for this account other than the new account number - as if all that was done was to replace the old cc # with the new one - original open date, CL, balance, etc. did not change. The old account number is not shown anywhere. It does not indicate "converted card" anywhere.

Thanks. Good to know!

sadly, only at 1cpp. I have only the old visa Flexperks.

You can book WN through the phone with Connexions and still redeem for 1.5 cents per point

Though, if you try to change the reservation later on via swa.com, it does not seem possible:

Held by travel manager

Upon cancellation, any travel funds will only be available through the travel manager who booked the reservation on your behalf

Yes, I've tried that. I booked a BS fare and then tried to cancel only to get that message; Funds held by travel manager. I had no idea how I would be able to access the funds so I just canceled the whole ticket.

Anyone know?

Did you get charged a fee for cancellation by Connexion?

Perhaps try to book something that they are not able to pull up? So that they have to release control to you?

I should elaborate that i have not done so, but i have noted that there are some WN routes that do not appear in their system. so i was speaking of one possible approach that had come to mind, though i have no successes (or failures) to note yet.

Are there any categories for real-time rewards that redeem higher than 1c per point left for the Flexperks Visa Signature? I had to book a ticket last night, so used my flexperks card planning to redeem some flexperks at 1.5cpp, only to discover that this had changed as outlined above. Hadn't needed to book much travel due to the pandemic, so hadn't been paying attention to these changes - what a rude surprise.

I think the changes were made in March. They nerfed the 1.5 redemption
