The card alone looks cheesy and could be very well mistaken for one of the PrePaid Visa Credit Score 390 cards that land in your spam folder every day

Wow, it is so sad that such a thing actually exists. I didn't believe it at first but Googled it and sure enough it was there.

Now I wonder what that is supposed to bring someone. Especially covering a Visa Card with it when the printout suddenly says VISA instead of AMEX I'm sure the associate will be not amused.

What a joke

Visa Black Card
The card is mostly marketed today in print, seemingly mostly the NYT, WSJ and Magazines such as Snow magazine. The site below has more detail on the card, and includes a comparison to the Centurion card, although the card is more akin to the AMEX Platinum card.

Visa Black card or Ameriprise World Elite Mastercard
Which one of these cards should I keep. THe Visa has a 495 annual fee. It gives out the priority pass and a couple of 50-60 gifts per year and the master card has a 150 annual fee and also gives the priority pass. The visa gives 1% cash back and free travelers insurance. The mastercard gives a complimentry companion ticket on international flights as long as i book business class at full price. Neither one is that good, but I decided to keep one of them.

Visa Black Card
I was e-mailed an invitation to apply for the Visa Black card. I haven't seen any discussion about that card in this forum.
Whats the consensus--is it worth the $495 fee?
Personally I don't value VIP acces or priority boarding very highly, and it looks like those are the primary benefits. Are there miles/points bonuses that I'm missing?

There are lots of info on the web. Simple terms.. NOT WORTH IT AT ALL. Also, the card is not that exclusive.. I got an invite too.
