Marketing Burn Out
Platinum is "Everywhere You Want to Be". Marketers want you to think you're special...problem is almost everyone has one. This is a burned out marketing gimmick that means almost nothing. Now its AmEx Centrion, World Mastercard, or Visa Signature that they will burn out next.
