I assume you are talking about the Merill+ card. I don't see anything new there:

I'll join mia in asking for clarification.

I think this DL offer is new, but very vague...

Merrill Lynch offers great savings to cardholders on Delta Air Lines ticket purchases. Effective 2/11/08, youll get 5% to 40% off selected airfares when you fly on Delta and use your MERRILL+ card to purchase your ticket. The deeper discounts may apply to international and unrestricted/full-fare tickets. The discount will depend on booking class, destination and availability. Travel must be booked through Merrill Travel Advisor.

The AA offer appears in the terms, which you can only see if logged in...

a) Save 10% off your purchased ticket price MERRILL+/+2/+3
Cardholders will receive a 10% discount when they book and travel on American Airlines to any destination worldwide. This discount is applicable for up to two (2) people traveling together on the same itinerary from January 1, 2008 through December 31, 2008. To qualify for the 10% savings, cardholders must make their reservations and purchase their tickets by calling the Merrill Lynch Rewards & Benefits Center at (800) 419-000, say Travel and refer to American Airlines 10% offer. Tickets must be purchased with a Merrill Lynch credit or debit rewards card. Standard booking fee of $25 may apply. No blackout dates. No Saturday night stay required. For itinerary changes, the cardholder must notify the Merrill Lynch Rewards & Benefits Center. Refunds, cancellations and exchanges not permitted.
This offer applies to all new reservations for one way or round-trip travel to any American Airline destination, both domestic and international, excluding codeshare flights. Travel must be booked on/before December 31, 2008. This discount applies to all published fares. Discount will not be applied to any government or airport imposed taxes, fees or charges. This is a limited time promotion. Merrill Lynch reserves the right to end this special promotion at any time.

I'll join as well - is there a link to this list of "new" benefits? I can't find the 10% AA discount anywhere, but maybe I'm being blind...

I'm a little confused - in that page you linked to it says:

Please note: AAVacations.com does not offer a discount on the "Air Only" option. For complete rules and restrictions, click here.

And then when you click on the rules and restrictions link, it says:

This discount offers a 10% discount on bulk airfare (no discount is applied to published airfare) and a 5% discount on all land components (hotels, rental cars, theme park passes, sight seeing tours) purchased via your unique URL link to AAVacations.com.

It seems like that link is all about buying a "Vacation" package on American, and not just a plane ticket. Am I missing something?

There are two unrelated American Airlines discount offers listed on the website.

---Vacation Package Offer---

https://cards.ml.com/MLRewardsCenter...erican+Air.htm

This is the AAVacations offer which include this link to book online...

http://www.aavacations.com/default.asp?CORP=MERRILL

---Flight Only Offer---

https://cards.ml.com/MLRewardsCenter...s.htm#american

This is the offer I already pasted in message #8. You must login to access the page. This offer can only be booked by telephone.

It seems like the American Airline status match had vanished. This was one of the main reasons I've got the card. Shame.
