Sometimes you have to be a resident of the state they operate in, while some were able to get the card without living in those states. It is very much YMMV. You will need proof of income (W2, check stubs, etc). The only states City National Bank operates in are: NY, DE (only trust office, no go), DC, GA, TN, MN, NV & CA. The bank is looking for high net worth individuals, but that's not exactly consistent either.
The card has no foreign transactions fees and is fee-free the first year, then $400 annually.

Read through the wiki - curious about this line about the airline credit:
Is this "not working" because the gift registry is down for maintenance? Or did it stop getting credited before that?

not sure if this is the right place to ask. i got the cnb crystal credit and registered my card at https://creditcare.cnb.com/CNB_Consumer/Login.do. i can log in and see my transaction. but i couldn't see my reward points or way to redeem them. any help is appreciated.

The new CNB rewards website is missed up so badly. It doesn't show reward points per transaction...Most importantly, it seems CNB is limiting the bonus categories now...Many groceries/transactions I used to get X3 points are no longer there...so sad

Guys - that is incorrect! The URL: https://www.cnbrewards.com/#/myaccount/transactions shows the transaction you made and the base rewards you received for that statement. The URL: https://www.cnbrewards.com/#/myaccount/earnings shows the EXTRA points you received for ALL transactions for that statement period. The 2x/3x IS NOT broken down, just the base earnings are broken down. Grocery is still 3x

10/25/17 $155.46 x 2, full amount refunded by AA on 11/15/17
11/14/17 $131.56 x 2, full amount refunded by AA on 11/23/17
11/25/17 $89.76 x 2
These charges did NOT trigger the airline credit. They were refunded due to schedule change with AA. Since there were 3 full weeks between the first charge/refund, I suspect AA award taxes no longer work. Or perhaps the amount is just too high?
