Some banks require that you go into a branch and apply personally. Other banks want you to have another account open for 90 days before you can get this card. Some banks (if you already have a relationship with them) let you apply via mail. Sometimes you have to be a resident of the state they operate in, while some were able to get the card without living in those states. It is very much YMMV. You will need proof of income (W2, check stubs, etc). The only states City National Bank operates in are: NY, DE (only trust office, no go), DC, GA, TN, MN, NV & CA. The bank is looking for high net worth individuals, but that's not exactly consistent either.
The card has no foreign transactions fees and is fee-free the first year, then $400 annually.

Do you know your assigned banker?
Have you met your banker in person?
All of these have to do with the relationship you have with your banker. If you have a good one, they will do things for you that they will not do for others. If you only have a CC and do not personally know your assigned banker, you may have to go into the branch and provide supporting documents of your AU's identity and SSN. With CNB there is NO set rule. It is up to the banker and their relationship with you. YMMV!!!

Visa Discount Air with Point Redemption
I found roundtrip flights on visadiscountair.com/cnb with outbound on American and return on Delta. After an eleven-minute queue for the Crystal Card Concierge, I asked for help booking flights with the $100 Visa Infinite discount and points redemption. The concierge quoted the exact total I found online and calculated a 1.3 cent point redemption. The charge processed to my Visa account as two separate transactions: one from American and the other from TRAVEL SERVICES CALABASAS for the Delta portion. The concierge said I will see a travel point redemption credit within two weeks. I expect to earn 3pts/dollar for the American charge, but likely only 1pt/dollar for the TRAVEL SERVICES.

Question for those that have actually started using the card already.
Are there like a whole bunch of sites you have to sign up for? So far i've had to create an account for the Credit Card online services, an account just to setup Credit Card alerts, an account for the Rewards, an account for the Visa infinite portal, and an account for Online banking...
I tried using the app but it looks like you have to use your Online banking login info and that account actually has to go under review before it gets created?!
I'm use to just logging into Chase or Amex and having all the features under one account...
To be expected, all of their site interfaces are pretty meh. They get the job done but are definitely not as good as the Chase or Amex ones.
