Past bonuses were:

***** #1502 - signup bonus 1/16/18 BUT ANNUAL FEE NOT WAIVED ******

100,000 points after spending $5,000 in first three months. Offer expires 30 December 2015. EXPIRED

A 70,000 points offer was offered back in March 2017 and expired March 31st, 2017. EXPIRED

The requirements for the application process varies from bank to bank based on various online data points collected from FlyerTalk, Doctor of Credit, etc.

Some banks require that you go into a branch and apply personally. Other banks want you to have another account open for 90 days before you can get this card. Some banks (if you already have a relationship with them) let you apply via mail. Sometimes you have to be a resident of the state they operate in, while some were able to get the card without living in those states. It is very much YMMV. You will need proof of income (W2, check stubs, etc). The only states City National Bank operates in are: NY, DE (only trust office, no go), DC, GA, TN, MN, NV & CA. The bank is looking for high net worth individuals, but that's not exactly consistent either.

The card has no foreign transactions fees and is fee-free the first year, then $400 annually.

Register your card for online access (cno.cnb.com). This changed on Sept 19 2019.
Register separately for the award page (www.cnbrewards.com).
Register for Visa Infinite info and access at https://myvisainfinite.com/cnb/en_us/home.html
Click "my info" to see details on points awarded.

I don't know. They sent me the form, but I haven't have time to fill out and send it back yet.

In points, CNB charges 33,378, which is a 1.35 cpp redemption against CNB's $450.59 price, or 1.27 cpp against the true $422.90 price. So even with the questionable cash premium, it definitely beats the cash option by a longshot.
Interesting. I've previously compared their prices to Expedia's previously for AA flights for a number of flights, and they were equivalent. However, I was typically getting more like 1.15-1.2 cpp.

I've seen people mention emailing bankers but I cannot seem to find email addresses OR phone numbers to branch-level employees.

I'm traveling to San Jose next week (where they have a branch) and wanted to go in-branch to apply (I'm from out of state), but was hoping to figure out if they'll even allow me to apply, since I'm not local. Trying to no be conspicuous; will just casually mention I'm out of state and see if they push back.

Anyone have experience with this branch or have contact info for bankers there?

most recently, I got travel rebate for a $250 AA GC purchased on 10/26, the rebate came through on 11/2.

I would suggest waiting a little longer. Reimbursement has been known to have some delays in the past.

Has anyone received the bonus yet for the latest round of applications? Was trying to get an idea of how long it takes after meeting the spend to get the bonus.

Got my 75k bonus. Saw it in my rewards account yesterday, not sure when it posted because the transaction history only shows purchases, no bonus.

I met my MSR in mid October.

Trying to add AUs and the banker is requesting literally all of the following for each AU:
  • Mother's maiden name
  • SSN
  • Copy of IDs
I understand SSN but really, a copy of their driver's license? This is ridiculous. Anyone get around this requirement by asking another branch/banker to add the AU?

I was not asked to provide a copy of the ID for AU. I don't think it is ridiculous at all. What is ridiculous is how easily some banks issue cards via internet apps with no little verification. There are serious consequences for banks that do not make every effort to comply with AML and trade sanctions requirements. Check out the million $$ fines.

My card is approved about three weeks ago. But I still didn't get my priority pass yet. How long does it normally take for them to send out the priority membership card?
Thanks,

Is it worthwhile to open checking account first? I can make a trip to NYC. But apply online definitely saves a lot of efforts.
