Datapoints:
There is a $90 AF and one cannot earn the 90K in one year unless one does $25K spending.
Best way to add to initial purchase bonus of 20K is to add AUs (and quite a few of them, too!).

yes, I see the same description. The only "reason" I see that BoFa didn't credit all transactions (may be last 2 transactions were too close to statement's ending date and they didn't count them but they were included in the statement). I have no idea. I spent in grocery store $3.5K (in $500 increments) and got only 3027 points. If I subtract last transaction and assume 1pt/$1 it would make exactly 3027 points.

I'm doing Serve & Visabuxx on top of normal purchases for this one, and I'll be happy with the $12k. May push through for $15k, but not confident.

The link is currently dead. Says it could be for maintenance or the offer is no longer available...

PS, on the $15k spend it says you'll get 7,500 miles but with wording of anniversary year. Anybody made the $15k spend and received bonus? If it's gonna take a year I'm less interested.

Long time lurker, first time post. I just applied a few days ago and got approved for this card.

I think redeeming on ANA flights look decent. For example, a business class on ANA flight with 11,001-14,000 miles in distance of return journey requires 95,000 Virgin Atlantic miles or 90,000 ANA miles. So there are slightly more miles required (5,000). I don't have experience in actually redeeming it though. I hope it's easy.

If I don't fly with VS, is there a good reason to aim for Silver status by spending on this card? I can spend $5,000/month to earn 2 tier. After 8 months I will have enough tiers to become Silver. I can reach it without doing any MS.

Finished the $12k spending on two cards last week. My 3rd statement closes on 11/21, here's to getting 180,000+ Virgin miles! I just plan on using them to book Delta flights (here's to hoping I can actually find 25,000 - 32,500 Delta reward seats).

Wait you can open 2 VS cards at once? How close between apps here?

If you have a significant other you can

Sorry, I should have specified that the 2nd card was not in my name. Whenever I open a card for points, we pretty much open up a 2nd one to collect double the bonus.

Up to 90,000 bonus miles offer

I got a targeted offer from Virgin Atlantic. Apply before Dec 19.

Bonus Miles offer is 20,000 miles after first purchase. You will receive 50,000 additional Bonus Miles after you make net retail transactions (transactions less credits, returns and adjustments) totaling at least $12,000 within the first 6 months. This one-time promotion is limited to new customers opening an account in response to this offer. Offer sponsored by Bank of America. Please allow 6 to 8 weeks after your qualifying transactions appear on your billing statement for bonus miles to post to your account. 7,500 anniversary Flying Club miles will be awarded when you spend a minimum of $15,000 in Net Purchases within the anniversary year with your Virgin Atlantic Card. An additional 7,500 anniversary Flying Club miles will be awarded when you spend $25,000 in Net Purchases within the anniversary year with your Virgin Atlantic Card. Earned Anniversary Flying Club miles will be posted to your Flying Club account each year within four to six weeks of the anniversary of your Card's open date.

I just got this email offer today and am slightly annoyed since I just did an AOR last week...how bad will it hurt me if I apply anyway? Is it even worth a pull if they see I just did an AOR last week?

Depends. When you did your AOR, what credit bureaus got pulled? You can always freeze the one that got the most pulls and if Bank of America tries to pull that bureau as well, it'll be an automatic denial.

You can then call the Spanish line and kindly ask them to pull another bureau for you
