Is it 1 hard pull or 2 hard pulls?
I applied Discover It and Bank of American card on 12/31/13. When I check my credit report, I see they both pulled Equifax on 12/31/13. I am wondering they are considered 1 pull or 2 pulls on my credit report? If they are 2 pulls, will they be merged in 1 pull?

No, most likely it will be consider 2 pulls as it's 2 different banks. I believe if you were doing 2 apps with the same bank at about the same time may result in 1 pull.

Somewhat related, a few months ago I got a new car, and now EQ shows two inquiries on the same day: by the dealership, and by the manufacturer's financing arm.
Would that be considered two hard pulls?

Depending on the type of inquiry and the revision of FICO being used, multiple inquiries across lenders will be combined in a period of 14-45 days.

Is it 1 hard pull or 2 hard pulls?
I applied for Barclaycard on a Sunday and got approved with 10k limit. I called the next to day to see I can get it bumped and Rep told me they need to do a another hard pull. I agreed to it. A few days later, I checked my credit report and it only showed one hard pull from them
