How long before my credit recovers the 8 points I need to get back to excellent? I've researched this forum but haven't gotten a feel for how long it takes for these hard pulls to drop off....Thank you!
I don't know about how long it takes for them to drop off, but I do my rounds every 90 days and my score rebounds typically to a point or two higher than 3 months earlier. If you're not using Credit Sesame or Credit Karma yet check them out, you can see a graph of your score which is fun to watch the valleys and peaks when you apply and then rebound. That is if you like graphs like me

Jeremy, I DO use creditKarma. That's where I'm getting my numbers! And you are right I enjoy watching my credit rebound, but I have not experienced this "hard pull" bringing my credit down

If you're relying on CK for your numbers, you may be in for a surprise. Remember CK is not a true IICO score.

It was a good suggestion until earlier this year when Hilton devalued.
