At Barclays, if you already have an online account, the card can also show up there before you get a notification from them. Obviously, that won't work if you don't yet have an online Barclays account from another card. But if it's not your first US card, you presumably do have an online account already.
2) What's the reconsideration line number?
866-408-4064. Only open M>F, 8am>5pm, Eastern.
3) How long after my first purchase does it take for the bonus miles to post in my account?
Miles for the first-purchase bonus post with the statement showing the initial purchase.
4) For those people who got the targeted offer, how long after spending $750 in each of the 3 months does it take for the bonus miles to post in my account?
Miles posts two months after the end of the promotion period. For example, if your promo was to spend in June, July and August, the 15k bonus would post with October statement.
5) How can I get the anniversary 10K bonus points without paying the annual fee?
The annual bonus posts on the statement date of the month of anniversary. No need to "kick out" a statement. But if you are worried, you can put a few bucks on the card during that cycle thus generate a statement but it is NOT necessary.
AF is billed the last business day of the month of the anniversary (much better than Chase practice which is on the 1st day of the month). You have 60 days to cancel the card for the AF to be reversed. You also can use SM to cancel card and no need to call.
Note: I called to cancel the card (June, 2014), told them it was because the AF was too high, and they waived it. Still got the 10,000 points and the Companion Certs!!

Fair enough. The creditor is now required to reveal your credit score. Let me augment my statement to "You are not entitled to a credit score from the CRAs".
Anyway, my main points still stands. After a credit pull (hard or soft) the CRA will give you access to your credit report.

Otherwise, you would not get that. We never get our "free" credit scores, presumably we never get "lesser" terms. I dont care what the interest rates are as we always pay in full and pay early. But I do want to have "free" info of our credit scores. No such luck.
I do call for the free credit report after each app, regardless the outcome.

Even more useful info than # of days between canceling old card and applying for new one would be:
1. How long between your last previous Barclays application (US Air, or some other flavor?) and this one?
2. How many Barclays cards do you have?
3. How many credit cards (of any kind, from any issuer) have you applied for in the past 12 months?
Barclays seems to focus on the above items much more than other issuers.

us airway premier world card
i applied and got approved us airway premier world back in november, received signup bonus and $750/ 3month /15k. i applied and got approved exact same card again on april. i just found out that my first sign up bonus was evaporated or i did not get sign up bonus second time. is this old news that i am not aware of???

Which is it? The miles are automatically transferred to your Dividend Miles account at US Airways at the end of each billing period. Do you see a negative adjustment? Have you verified that both credit card accounts are linked to the same Dividend Miles account?

for a lower version (I've only 7 months' credit history, probably this reason), but 35k sign-up offer confirmed by SM.

You should be able to see all the movement details in your DM account. Chances are the 2nd bonus never got posted, because you have not met a spend requirement which you may not be aware of? Or are both cards linked to the same DM number?
Nobody has ever reported they haven't gotten the bonus on the 2nd card or their bonuses have disappeared after being posted.

I just apped and was approved for my 2nd card with the 1st card still open using the 35k link. Just got the anniversary bonus on the 1st card, but the AF hasn't hit yet.
Used Chrome Incognito mode, and I did get the technical error. However, I can already see the second card in my Barclays online account. They gave me $1000 less credit on the 2nd one.

Yes, I got the card in mid March. Only made one charge. I just got a mailer today... 15K bonus with $750 spend/mo June, July and August.

Applied for the card in March used the card twice and dint use it again. I got the offer of 15k for spending over 750$ in June, July and August! I think it takes 3 statements..did u apply in the later part of March? may be u get for the next cycle July-sep
