Masks and cataract surgery
Am I right in thinking wearing a mask in the days after cataract surgery isn't a good idea?

Are you thinking about bits of fabric from the mask getting into your eye? air flow up to your eye causing drying/irritation? or something else?
As always I'd take this question to your, or the traveler's doctor, but in general I'd think that anything involving atmosphere pressure changes should be addressed with the physician also. This is me assuming you mean while flying since this is Flyertalk.

Definitely something to bring up with your eye doctor. Recovery time is generally quite fast but keeping your eyes at optimal moisture levels and free of debris is key.
