Revised infant baggage policy?

https://www.copaair.com/en-cl/travel...e-for-infants/

This appears to have changed in recent months. The way I am reading it, it seems that infants now get the same baggage allowance as their parent? Meaning, if I get 3 x 32 kg bags checked, the infant also gets its own 3 x 32 kg bags checked.

Is this correct? If so, it's much more generous than the previous policy. Seems too good to be true, hence my question.

They didn't proofread that. So there's an ambiguous line that probably shouldn't be there.

It says explicitly that the infant don't get any luggage in the hold, just the allowance of the accompanying adult and one of the mentioned carry on items.

Yes, if you don't buy a infant ticket (seats) dont get additional luggage. Only gey additional when buy a ticket for you infant. The luggage include in this ticket is according to ticket fare don't status luggage benefits.
the 3 x 32 kg is a status benefits don't fare allowance.
