That dirty Peter Boyle - they should have put "Everybody Loves Raymond" on HBO.Or maybe it was the word "holy" that was offensive?

In any event, I've learned to use the auto-checkin option - especially when an upgrade hasn't cleared before the check-in window opens. The feature helped me out on a couple recent trips. That way, I never have to yell out "oh crap! my upgrade didn't clear!".

"defecate" 1846 (v.), 1898 (n.), from one of a cluster of words generally applied to things cast off or discarded (e.g. "weeds growing among corn" (1425), "residue from renderings" (1490s), 18c. underworld slang for "money," and in Shropshire, "dregs of beer or ale"), all probably from M.E. crappe "grain that was trodden underfoot in a barn, chaff" (c.1440), from M.Fr. crape "siftings," from O.Fr. crappe, from M.L. crappa, crapinum "chaff." Sense of "rubbish, nonsense" also first recorded 1898. Despite folk etymology insistence, not from Thomas Crapper (1837-1910) who was, however, a busy plumber and may have had some minor role in the development of modern toilets. The name Crapper is a northern form of Cropper (attested from 1221), an occupational surname, obviously, but the exact reference is unclear.
Not a whole lot I find offensive here. Anyway, glad to see the moral police on FT are alive and well. Maybe we should sear a scarlet "C" into the OP's forehead.

Anyone else thinking of the old George Carlin bit about the inconsistency shown to him in being fired from working in Las Vegas?
I'm tired of the minority being kowtowed to. If one person gets offended, the entire planet seems to now have to stop doing, saying, or thinking something. That, boys and girls, is complete and utter crap. Life is tough; get a helmet.

Boy did I get it wrong
When I opened this post I was thinking that you were going to tell us you were number 70 in line for departure out of Newark. My mistake, I was 87th out of O'Hare years ago.

SFOGATE's Crystal Ball is Broken
My partner and I scored a VDB each plus put in FC on 302 tonight to LAX.
SFOGATE you need to take that 'ball' of yours in for service.

Really - I understand there is offensive language out there, and that some people use it a lot, but just because someone gets offended easily doesn't mean the language was bad at all.
