Holy Crap - Sequence 70!
One of the things I've become obsessed about is checking in at the 24 hour mark for every flight -- including RJs. Don't ask why, I think it's one of those punctual genes my mother gave me.
Did so at 3:25 for my EWR/LAX flight tomorrow (#65).
-Yes, I'm Platinum
-Yes, I know I won't get upgraded
-Still have my EE Row Aisle
-Still had to check in at T-24.
Sequence 70
65 must be a big feeder from TATL.

Try checking in for CO 50/51 some time. With the number of connections and the fact that it is widebodies the SEQ number can be significantly higher.

Add the feeder pax to those that are on "auto-checkin" which probably occurs a micro-second after the window opens.

I've never seen this "Sequence 70" - what is it? (and I did just take CO 50/51 back in May!)

Going for the Bump!
Y is showing 6 available. But, have a feeling 65 is going to be full tomorrow.
Going for the bump. Maybe with some good negotiation skills and kindness I can score an F on 302.
Fingers are crossed.

To the OP,
In the future, it would be appreciated is you watch your language here.
You could have phrased your thread topic much differently.
Thanks.
P.S. - Enjoy Coach.

My crystal ball says, "Your flight is full. Don't count on a bump."

I'm not really sure why this is post-worthy.
AFAIK, CO's systems view the two segments (LIS-EWR, EWR-LAX) as one flight, so the sequence numbers cannot be duplicated. So anyone on the LIS-EWR segment (regardless of whether they're continuing on to LAX) who checks in before you do will have a lower sequence number. They get a 10 hour head start for OLCI.
