Manage your Profile
I'm curious to find out how useful the profile in my OnePass account actually is. For meals, it seems not to work. My nephew just flew GUM-HNL-IAH and had a child meal preference. He never got one. I'm flying four segments this weekend. I got the upgrade on the second and fourth segments where the third leg has no First Class cabin. The thing that makes me wonder about the usefulness of the profile is that I always get upgraded into a window seat instead of my preferred aisle seat even when there are aisle seats open. Does your profile work for you?

I think companies had a period of data-collection-stalking they intended to use with their customers. Turns out that needs a lot of manpower and resources to make dedicated offers to as many detailed group subcategories as they had allowed for in their systems - thus lots of data points turn out to be relatively useless. Being a vegetarian from Fresno with 5 kids has no basis on if you book with CO for business and that's all they really worry about.

This happends to me as well (not the meal, but the upgrade.) I figured that they throw the profile out the window if you get the upgrade- I also have asile as my choice as well - not saying it right, but at least your in F.

Works, But be Careful What You Wish For...
My vegetarian meals almost always come through on transcons and TATL flights, and I usually book through continental.com. As for notifications, it took me a while to get them to stop because they would keep calling the home number when a return flight was delayed. Mrs. SilverGoat was not amused
.
Also had the same notification problem with the few tickets that I booked through Orbitz, which I only use when I book an exquisitely complicated route with mixed carriers.
