Correct! Its has already existing service for SEA-OGG/HNL/LIH/KOA & PDX-OGG/HNL and ANC-HNL/OGG. Hope the loads are very successful route for AS. Is that some aircraft are with ETOPS FAA certifications overwater restrictions?

Because it was very poor performance on this route for IAH-OGG. CO has been already discontinuation it due to poorly loads but, it wasn't doing very well. That's why its terrible loads on this route by operated 757-200 ETOPS overwater restrictions.

Right. AS does not have any on order newest 739ER to need gets ETOPS FAA certifications overwater with liferaft & lifejacket. So I think it would eventually to put on order newest 739ER need flying over TPAC flight for LAX-Hawaii. It will be perfect time for AS will expected to looking for another new route from West Coast-Hawaii.

Glad to see OGG coming back. But I really hope that they make this flight EUA-able. Considering you can fly the island-hopper HNL-GUM and get an EUA for the whole thing, I don't see why they wouldn't allow it for LAX-HNL/OGG. Really the only reason they were charging the Revup free/copay system before was because it had the BF cabin.
Given this, however, I wonder how inclined I would be to purchase HNL-LAX-IAH-FLL if I do my usual trip, just so I could get upgraded the whole way.
Maybe the fares would also work well with HA/codeshare HNL-OGG-LAX-xxx. Extra miles

Seems like LAX-HNL/OGG on the 739ER should indeed be EUA-able. Hard to see how it's any different from the island hopper.

I agree about the EUAs. While I will love CO service to other islands, it seems kind of odd given the UA service from LAX that we will be able to use at the end of the year.

Wait for president Obama until the travel restrictions will be lifted anytime soon. So let's hope some airlines will have to begin nonstop from EWR-HAV or anywhere else.

Since UA has a pretty much non presence in SouthFlorida and CO has alot of flights to Florida would be nice if CO would start up flight from FLL,MIA,PBI, and TPA to LAX or maybe MSY-LAX with the 737-900ER.

Yeah, DL already existing service for MSY-LAX. I think it would becoming year-round instead of seasonal. I think they are doing quite very well for MSY-LAX. CO can't have another specific route for MSY-LAX but, its tougher competiing with DL. I knows CO will have connection opportunities for next flight out of LAX-Hawaii flight.

Considering that there are only a handful of non-hub mainline flights right now I wouldn't bet on it. That being said, LAX-OGG does add another "finger" to that handful, so I guess they are slowing adding some.

If you add in OGG, it brings the non-hub total to three, no? LAX-HNL, LAX-OGG, SEA-ANC, IIRC.
