BOM to EWR seat 5A or 2D, which is better?
Hey guys & Gals, is this a good seat in BF.. 5A..? Does anyone know if there is a bathroom behind it? or limited recline? or is an Aisle seat better on the window seat? on this 777.
I prefer more privacy and quiet ride on this long haul..
Any opinions are appreciated..

even if SG had 5A as a Green seat (best) Id still go with 2D. The seats in the middle area are great and IMO should all be Green except for the 1st and last rows. Why, cause the person next to you doesnt have to bother you in order to get out or in they have their own aisle
I Always try for 2-3-4 or 8 in the middle area. Ok Im not able to open the shade and watch some really nice scenery but if the person in the seat next to me is asleep then its not right to open it anyway where I might wake them up when the sun or light shines onto them. Nor do I have to play with how to get out or in cause the other person is asleep or busy doing some work.

even if i am in the middle section, i still like to climb over the other person to get to the bathroom.

Depending upon when your flight is, you may see a change in the seat map. CO has a tendency to put the upgraded 772s on the EWR-BOM route, and some seats in the rear BF area might open up. This is my preferred seating since it does tend to be quieter and get better service.
The flight outbound from BOM chases dark, so there's not much to see out the windows during the flight. Definitely grab a middle seat to avoid having someone crawl over you to get to the bathroom. A couple of Ambien also help since, even in BF, it is still a 15 - 16 hour flight (depending upon season/winds).
