Hopefully if any good comes out of this it would be that CO would be able to take over the Main Terminal space and reintroduce their President's Club to Boston.

The current terminal A is new. It opened in 2005. Eastern never flew from it. It did fly from the previous terminal that was on the same site.

So now it's no better than BusinessFirst.

Or NW could move over to BOS Term A and make it a WC. CO could then be forced over to Term E and the bad gate area that NW has.

BTW - it was just announced that AirTran is taking over CO's old gates and check in area in BOS Term C.

At least DL has a premium sleeper seat rolling out. If I wanted CO to make an investment, I'd want them to choose a premium in-flight offering like a sleeper suite over a premium in-airport service like a BusinessFirst lounge.

That's what I was talking about the history of that terminal as well as the new great facility. I have sen Term A go through many changes over the years.

BOS Term A is great - but the old Term A had such a classic look, it is too bad parts of it could not have been preserved.

So will CO rethink their BF lounge implmentation with the closing of B/E lounges?

CO was only in the stage of looking for space. My guess is that they might still do that (look for space) for future expansion - if not just expansion of PCs. This was still for several years out.

I guess it depends if there is any consolidation in the industry. DL/NW looks off for now.
