Hi rkkwan, thanks as always for the feedback. For future releases we do plan to have the preview site ready at least a week before the release. This is not set in stone, but it's certainly our plan.

Did you sign up as a beta tester? How do we access the new site?

If anyone is interested in signing up for the continental.com preview program, just send me a PM with your OnePass number and preferred email address. You can also make the request by sending an email with your FlyerTalk handle and OnePass number to [email protected].

Yah - another Mac user! :) No problems so far in Safari or Firefox.

The new hotel search page has a much nicer, more up-to-date feel. ^ I must ask though, was Best Buy's logo the inspiration for that "Best Rate" image? :)

Destinations Served page also got a face lift - looks very nice!

Hi Flyer_70, yes, but it's very subtle. The automatic calendar pop-up has been eliminated, at least for the time being. This was a direct result of feedback received at the DO.

I'd call that an improvement!

And I thought the calendar not popping up on the preview site was yet another calendar problem. But I am glad to hear that it's been changed. It was always fine on my home PC, but on my work laptop, it's been troublesome when it pops up automatically. It's always worked fine if I clicked the calendar icon to show the calendar, but the automatic pop-up tended to crash my Internet browser on my work computer.

Using Safari on a Mac. Seems to run a bit faster but it may be time of day.

Posted some problems that carried over from the older version.

like not always 150% EQMs on H fares and some seat map problems.

I checked in for my parents tonite, and I was sent through the regular checkin.continental.com site, not the preview one. So, no change there. Still can't check-in until 23:59 before flight time, not 24:00.

[I think this is my 5,000th post.]

That is my 5,000th post. I've since posted 5, including this one. The post count on the left reflects the current number.

Can you change an existing reservation such that one leg (e.g., IAH-DEN on day X) could be changed to multiple legs (e.g., IAH-OKC on day X and OKC-DEN on day Y)?

I don't believe that that is currently possible, but it sure would be nice.

Thank you. I did not understand that. I also don't understand why, often, multiple posts on the same thread carry the same number.

Jack
