I misspoke, MEDLINK, is the proper terminology.

First time was probably almost 20 years ago, I dont know if MEDLINK was in service at that time.

Last was about 5 years ago on a PDX to IAH redeye with a divert to COS.

Approx. 75 yof, positive LOC, very low BP, unresponsive to stimuli, SC upon landing, evacuated with a Smith Cot by COS FD to a waiting ambulance.

Then 3 hours on the ground at COS waiting for O2 restocking but no griping.

I still have the bottle of cabernet.

Not if you are on a 767 or 777; we use SATCOM (satellite communications).
