I asked this earlier this week but don't think anyone had an answer then but now that you've looked at it, I'll try again. :) Is the initial deposit if made on a credit card a purchase or a cash advance?

The website says it will be treated as a purchase and not a cash advance. :-:

They accept Visa and MC.

I'd heard that they were gone. Now there's really no reason whatsoever to visit. Just glance at the giant collection of crapola on the way to/from the Alcatraz ferry and keep moving.

Greetings from the great white north

I know many like to visit the warm tropical areas of the world for Spring Break... including Hawaii and the Caribbean... heck even some end up in Mexico or Down Under...

Then there are flyertalkers... :D

The Second Annual Alaskan Spring Break DO - March 12-14, 2010 is designed for the latter... and should be much warmer then last year's event... ANC is as far north as we are heading, spending time on the Kenai Peninsula.

A couple FTers have been hard at work trying to arrange some cool tours, and activities, driving along a scenic byway, among other activities.

Hope to see some box representation! :D

I'll be in Wisconsin Dells that weekend. Still need to go to Alaska (my 50th state) in 2010

We already have Alcatraz, Ghirardelli Square, general merriment on cable cars, Lombard Street, and teh Painted Ladies on the agenda, plus our first visit to an In-n-Out. I also want to see Haight-Ashbury...she could care less about that, but I took two courses on The 60s in America during my undergrad. She has never been to SFO and I haven't in 20ish years, so the Wharf and that area has to be seen a little.

I rented a bike and rode across the bridge to Sausalito. Cool places for lunch over there. Then I took the ferry back to the wharf. Fun day.

I would like to get over the 50% mark in states visited. I'm at 22 and have no idea what this year will bring travel-wise.

ETA: Oops. 23. Forgot to add Minnesota after my MSP trip last fall.

Yeah, that caught my eye as well. Good move, but should make for some fun stories after IRROPS.

So this would imply that they expect to have enough 752s converted by 6/1 to do this. Cool.

What are you doing for accomodations? Hotel? B&B? If you have a car, a neat side trip (IMO) is to Berkeley. Interesting sights to be seen. ;) There's also a great pizza joint there - Zachary's. Yum! I would also recommend a tour
at this place
. Your taste and smell senses will not disappoint you.^

No Car needed for Berzerkely- BART will get you there no problem

Hotel yes, car yes. I'm trying to flesh out something else to do, as it looks like there's about a half-day long hole in teh schedule right now.

My thoughts as well. It seems as if someone on Smith St. realized that 18 months was far too long a timeline for implementing lie-flat.

Do check out Muir Woods, then. The redwoods there are incredible. ^

Now, if only the 76s could get them quickly...

Wow it's tough to catch up on the Box these days.

Try to keep warm. I felt sorry for the guy pumping my gas this morning as he was dressed like the kid in The Christmas Story as he was trying to stay warm.

Ugh, I can't get to the Bank of America website.

Wander out to the end of the Sunset by the Cliff House and watch the sun set! Don't eat there, though. It's overpriced and the service stinks.
