What bothers me about brands like Homewood are the inconsistencies. I like to know what I'm getting when I travel (for work). I was at a Homewood a week and a half ago when I was b!tching in here about the Hilton brand.

The wi-fi was terrible (I picked-up a stronger signal from an adjacent hotel :mad:), half the equipment in the gym was inop. (I snuck into the adjacent hotel to use their gym), there was water pressure trouble in the bathroom, and the "breakfast" lacked the Home:rolleyes: standards (off to Dunkin'!).

That is one of the reasons I'm currently sticking with Marriott. With few exceptions, I know almost exactly what I'm going to get at any level of property under the Marriott umbrella. Only rarely am I surprised and it has never been that big of a deal. But that's just me. :-:
