Evolution will only work when we can weed out the morons. Morons are growing faster than weeds nowadays. Whatever progress evolution manages to make is beaten back by MTV and asshat parents.

Phone interview at 0700, flight at 0955 tomorrow.

Take the call at home or P-Club?

All depends on flexibility of plans and/or flights and ticket type. Accordingly,

1. Non-refundable and flexible plans. Might do it at home if you can do a same day confirmed over the phone,

2. Non-refundable and non-flexible. Take the interview in a quiet place at the PC.

3. Refundable and flexible. Phone interview at home.

4. Refundable and non-flexible. Take the interview in a quiet place at the PC.

Pretty stoked

^ Very nice. I did the Wish List thing last year. Gave up after a couple of days trying.

FL coach is *tight* (I think about 29" in Y on the 717s). Unless you're in business class or they're cheaper, or you have a hankering for XM radio, there's no reason to fly FL.

That might be a good reason I've never had the FL experience.

Why are the Amazon cards still listed if they were supposed to have been sold hours ago?

I am sure that you are aware of Mike Judge's master piece on this, Idiocracy, as we all know "Brawndo's got electrolytes".:p:D

I've flown FL twice. Once was an impromptu Florida trip with the family where they were by far the least expensive and most convenient. My wife liked the XM, the kids are small(ish), and I didn't mind the lack of space because I wasn't working. The other time was flying MKE-LGA (up front -- FL's only refundable fares are business class) and they cost half as much as CO did for an ERJ.

Though I don't fly them, I like their pricing strategy, because other airlines match their C fares with Y-UPs, meaning I can get an F ticket on the airlines I prefer to fly for the cost of a reasonable refundable coach ticket.

As a former student of history, I take the long view. The stupid have always been with us; technological advances just make it easier for us to notice them.

If It were me and I wanted to do it at home, I would make sure I could get a later flight, if not I would find a quiet place at PC or somewhere else at the airport.

When would you otherwise leave for the airport, and how long do you expect the interview to last? I'd lean towards the PC if it was at all going to be close.

Thanks for the advice. The airport is about 30 minutes away, but I will be checking bags. My ticket is el cheapo and I am connecting through IAH to LGA. The interview is supposed to be 30 minutes, but due to a time zone misunderstanding the interview will be at 8 AM instead.

Luckily, the LAS PC is pretty empty at that time of day.

ETA: Thanks for the advice, too, :rolleyes:v!
