Because there aren't enough Jersey jokes out there. Sigh. Not that I'm defending New Jersey or anything, but this has the same effect as Parking Wars.

US seems to have matched the CO/UA MR fare. The suckage just gets higher and higher.

I'm sure -- the SFO flights are the same. I've got to get back to NJ at a reasonable time, though. The kids have school the next day and I've got to prepare for my trip to SFO the day after that.

Now I know why I didn't get Starpoints from the MegaDo. It never occurred to me that because my fake SPG Gold came thru CO that I would get miles. 1,380 of them. Not bad at all.

Hmmmmm....found an SNA same-day turn that would be great fun to book. I'd have 8 minutes to walk off of IAH-SNA and make SNA-DEN.

The SPG points are worth more than the CO points. But that is the price one pays for going that route for status. I made the mistake once and fixed my earnings preference right away. :-:

That is one of the easiest airports to pull a quick turn, but one would imagine the doors would already be shut by that point.

The "is not possible" experiment does not work if I ask for things I know not to be possible (e.g., getting into the KL lounge with CO Gold, and I had a C ticket anyway). Everything was possible. So far, and more surprisingly, everything seems to be possible in France also :confused:

Agree about worth, but I was at the tail end of the targeted list for SPG Gold, so mine is actually good thru 2011. I have a while to decide if I want to move to SPG.

A reliable booking engine would barf back an attempt to book that though. Non-perfect post-Star CO.com might let it go...which begs the question if one should book it, attempt to fly it, and then play stupid along with cry for compensation.
