Chase has an insane promo for the BA Signature Visa. 50,000mi. after first purchase, 50,000 more if you spend $2K within 3 months.

Sign Up Here.

Also, don't forget about the HHonors/BA Double-Dip promo... 1,500 BA Miles for HHonors stays.

Looks like I'll soon have enough BA miles to sample a OneWorld F Cabin on a longhaul. :D ^^^

But seriously, does the point need to be made, time, time, time and time again?

A cybersquatter refuses to release the rights to beatadeadhorse.com, and that left Randy Petersen with his second choice for domain names: FlyerTalk.

:D

I actually learned on Saturday the genesis of the name.

And 2K is easy to spend if one's patriotic enough to help the mint get Presidential $ coins into circulation.

So basically F for the price of the fuel surcharge and the annual fee. Not too shabby. I may have to bite on that one.

It's talk among those who consider themselves flyers. Is the story more exciting than that?

Yeah. Don't forget that N. America-SCL-IPC is only 80K in J on LA when using BA miles. :D

If all the miles fall into place in time, I'd like to go over Easter. :-:

Mackieman Nov 10, 2009 11:47 am

I would so jump on that were it not for the fact that I need another 100,000 miles to bring along my wife, and that isn't likely given my almost complete disuse of OneWorld.

My work actually gives Good Friday as a vacation day, so it would make for a 3-day weekend I could play with.

I don't want to bring attention to myself with TMo - part of my very inexpensive Blackberry is being on a pricing plan that doesn't exist any more. Been off-contract for two years and they don't seem to mind.

Unlike the other carriers, one of the nice things about Tmo is grand-fathered plans stay grandfathered until you change it. They will never force a chance.

I have features on my plan that have been there for over five years with never an issue.

So, you should be safe in procuring a new bb. I recommend spending the extra $50 for a one-year over a two-year contract.
