My understanding is that a big difference between TX state highways and F.M. and R.M (Farm/Ranch - to - Market, for you Yankees;) ) is that on the latter, livestock have (or originally had) right of way: liability is with the driver, and on the state highways, it's reversed.

As OH mention, NW SAN-MSP over shot MSP for over an hour until they finally came back into contact with the tower and landed safely. Well I guess DL is getting in the breaks for the pilots!!
