My understanding is that a big difference between TX state highways and F.M. and R.M (Farm/Ranch - to - Market, for you Yankees;) ) is that on the latter, livestock have (or originally had) right of way: liability is with the driver, and on the state highways, it's reversed.

It didn't sound like much of a debate.

OK, maybe "discussing" was a better term. They were pretty much in agreement. Do the nasty with someone you're not married to, for any purpose other than popping out a kid, and you better get on your knees and pray for forgiveness.

I guess I need to start praying.

Bizzare story on the news now about a NW flight.

Why is ABC showing NWA plane with *A graphics on it?

I'm not so sure that's the case; I've never heard of such a rule. The really big difference in the FM/RM routes (ones signed with the black sign with white Texas shape and number in the middle) and SH routes (ones signed with the white square box with the "TEXAS" title at the bottom) has to do with funding sources for the initial construction of the road, the fact that the road was created to be a secondary highway, and in many cases, that the road was built as an upgrade to existing locally maintained roads in a rural area. As cities have grown, quite a few FM/RM routes have become urbanized, such as FM 1960 in the Houston area. But overall they remain rural connector routes, designed to get traffic from US/State/Interstate routes into more rural areas, and provide an upgrade to the often unpaved county roads that many FM/RM routes replaced.

As OH mention, NW SAN-MSP over shot MSP for over an hour until they finally came back into contact with the tower and landed safely. Well I guess DL is getting in the breaks for the pilots!!

Because to those idiots, a plane is a plane is a plane.

Sounds like you can dispense with the dependent clause "you're not married to".

I read about that earlier. The article I saw referred to them discussing company policy. I'm quite sure it was merger related.
