That flight was longer (time-wise) than IAH-AMS, another route I've frequented in whY. :rolleyes:

Frequented = more than once = :(

Ouch. Going in that direction, he doesn't even reap the benefit of landing in EZE at the end of the experience. 10+ hours in whY and arrival in Teh Pit, to boot. :-:

Late for sure. I land around at 7:30pm and a certain J Edward offered to act as chauffeur for the evening. I'm hoping the offer still stands. :)

AMS didn't get to be my #6 airport through predominantly premium-cabin travel. :-:

1Ps and 2Ps don't seem too happy about the change.

I'm not thrilled with it, but as far as I'm concerned F is most valuable on transcons and if I'm flying a UA transcon the only way I ever get upgraded as a 1P is with miles after a switch from a 319 to a 320. If I fly UA I expect to be in E+ anyway. If I want F I'll take the train to EWR and fly CO (I can book B fares for work).

Unless I'm on a (rare) 757 to or from ORD, I'll never see F on UA as a 1P out of PHL. UA mostly flies A319s (8F) and A320s (12F) from here.

It does make the decision of what to do with *A miles next year interesting, though.

Aloha from one of the EWR C PClubs. It's empty in here. No complaining about lack of seats.

I was in one of the C clubs a couple of weeks ago on a Friday afternoon around 4 pm and the place was empty. Maybe it's not the biggest transatlantic day, but I would have expected it to be a lot more full.

I will be in one of the C clubs tomorrow afternoon around 4:30. If anyone else will be there, let me know.

I was young, foolish, and hadn't yet discovered FT and BD.

Wrong. So wrong. ;)

I dealt with travel arrangements for him once. I was asked to book a car service for his arrival and departure to/from ACY. He came in to speak/appear at a landscaping convention. Flew DL - PDX-ATL-ACY, back when ATL-ACY existed on a CRJ.
