A new CO 739 just landed at BFI for fitting out I assume.

I had a pre-senior moment earlier today; carry weapon wasn't in the right case ...

What would have stopped you from buying 20 cents in gas with the credit card at the pump?

Yeah, I didn't think of that. I was just so annoyed going to WM again that I just perused the place looking for something cheap. I was disappointed that they don't have the Wrigley's gum for 25 or 30 cents anymore! The guy did look perplexed when I pulled out my card for a 0.54 purchase.

I've done it once - a company really ticked me off and I ended up purchasing 31 cents in gas with a credit card.

Back at ZFV after a great afternoon/evening of fellowship, geekery, and political incorrectness. The choochoo is a spectacular daytrip option that we will be exercising as a couple. ^^

that reminds me, I need to go and make 5 purchases.

I used to have a Citi Thank You card & they started a "quarterback" promo: If you opened a checking account with them, they gave you 25 cents for every credit card purchase you made, in addition to TY points. They sent me a letter stating that they were ending it on a specific date. On the last day, we took all 3 cars to fill up the gas. I think we spent over an hour filling 3 cars (swipe the card, squeeze the handle for a second, hang the handle up & repeat), but made a bunch of money. Then they sent me a check for $200 and apologizing for ending the promo. I was thrilled!

I gave them my direct deposit for a few months; I figure I'll let them have it for a bit since they're giving me so many miles & taking my coins with a smile (at least for now).

Well actually - the fun was just beginning at 8pm. I hooked up with the group at RFD at 7th and H St NW with two more hours of drinking at this Irish Pub. Of course, ALCO was in true fashion. ConciergeMike and SteveGadfly headed over to the train station for the 10pm headed north. The rest all headed over to the roof top at the W Hotel (the old Washingtonian Hotel) - beautiful night and view. Saw the lights go out at the WhiteHouse.

And thanks to Fozz - we got EliteAccess into the W - he was staying there. Huge line around the block - but the flash of those magic black key cards - got us in the side entrance and a quick trip to the roof top deck. Lots of beautiful people and the party continued. I left the group at midnight - with no stopping in sight. Those left included: ALCO, CO 1E, dan1431, SCOTT6067, sbm12, fozz. I will let it go at that - my lips are sealed.

I left the group as they headed to Dupont SGR. THere may or may not be headlines in the morning.
