I mentioned earlier that it was not totally my idea - my company takes a very interesting approach to marketing, and getting clients to use Facebook is part of it. Knowing that, I thought I should at the very least get familiar with it. Nobody who pulls me up has to know who is who or why they're there. As far as I'm concerned, the FTers who friend me are "clients".

Professional Society. This is one of those elections I have to remain very much not in alliance with anyone.

Speaking of elections, I got a recorded phone message from Al Sharpton today to vote in the primaries for some city councilman from Brooklyn. I don't live in NYC.

Seeing as how you posted your desired flight numbers and I'd reasonably assume that you did not make a rookie mistake and book something over 24 hours, there is no reason that you can't stop in NRT. Only things I can think of: A) clueless agent B) obscure rule prohibiting something or other on the KE side of things.

Yes, I'm supposed to be exploring the networking potential of FB for prospective clients -- but haven't gotten serious about it, yet. I'll be your 'client' - if you'll be mine!:D:-:

You're not in the correct demographic for him to call you live and in person, anyway. :p

Focus on things that are part of one's budget anyway. For me, we'll use "Lowe's" as an example.

A. Find a gift card for Lowe's that's more than 10% (usually 10-15%) below face value with free shipping. One needs to be on the "Buy It Now" -> "Newly Listed" to catch those,
B. Be linked in through either Microsoft Bing cashback (usually 8%) or MyPoints (2 points per dollar - I use that for low-value items as the Bing cash is limited),
C. Buy the 10% off Lowe's purchase coupons on eBay for approximately 50 cents per (to use with gift cards).
D. Buy (in advance) the eBay gift cards you'll use to buy the Lowe's gift card at the grocery store for double miles on the credit card,
E. Buy (in advance) the eBay gift cards you'll use to buy the Lowe's gift card at the grocery store for 10 cents off every gas fill-up.

Even with low mileage valuations, one's already saved approximately 35% on their home improvement needs.

ETA - Pay no mind to the fact that the cooking-surface has probably needed a good scraping/abrading for several years, and that the lady behind the lunch-counter doesn't wear gloves. The food is awesome.

I wouldn't look for airline vouchers on eBay - that's one way to tick off Revenue Protection.

Part of my job is teaching others how to teach; another part of the job is breaking down federal and state regulation into common language.
