I read this book years ago. I enjoyed it. But then again, I did the trek to base camp in my early 20's, so I had a particulalr interest in it. By the way, trek to base camp is not as impressive as it sounds. It's a phenomenal thing to do, but not difficult if you are healty and somewhat fit. I've never been one to be "super fit", and so if I can do it, anyone can!

LOL! Not seen the Notebook, don't intend to. Haven't read any of his books, don't intend to!!!

I have my mortgage through Wells Fargo. My previous experience with them was sufficiently  but my mortgage has been fine so far. Really no complaints.

Aloha box.

Apparently the Palm is coming to JFK. I guess CM will have to start flying AA or B6 ;) :p

WaMu Texas: brace for impact.

Please note: Your account access, excluding mortgage accounts, will move to Chase.com July 23-26. During that time, Customer Service will have the same balance information as shown online.
  • Your account balances may not reflect recent transactions or activity.
  • You’ll no longer be able to see your home equity accounts.
  • You can begin to log on to Chase.com on July 26.
  • Read answers to frequently asked questions to help manage your account and learn more about Chase's online services.

I've always use The Provident and have never had any problems with them. They were my first bank when I got a passbook account when I was a kid. I currently have a mortgage, safe deposit box, etc. with them. It's a NJ-only bank with 175 years of history, branches all over the state, and they didn't get wrapped up into the sub-prime mortgage .

Good luck with the construction!

Provident Bank's incompetence led to my identity being stolen several years ago.

Fortunately for me, I was under 18 at the time so while the incident was a mess to clean up, it did not negatively impact my credit or my name. Regardless, I would never do business with Provident Bank.

On a spur-of-the-moment roadtrip to LA while boxing. How do you guys deal with the mobile site?

I hate how I see 40 posts per page on my computer but only 30 on my bb.

I deal with the mobile site by not using it - I downloaded the Bolt browser and visit the full site from my Blackberry.

Yeah, the weather created the EWR and IAH redeyes to be late. That was a good thing because CLE oversold by 2 and I used IAH to reroute them.

Tonight's voucher going rate was $350 TC. I got one at the counter and had to beg on board for the other one.

I got a half hour of overtime for tonight's mess. ^

should it be available next month I'll take the voucher, coming out there for some relaxation, I don't mind waiting till the next morning :D

Wow....really? I've been banking with them for literally 30 years and have never even had anything resembling a problem. Sorry about your

Is Provident NJ related to Provident NY?

If so, they are as a$$h0les as much as they are idiots.:rolleyes:

Morning, Box :-:

Finally back to traveling this weekend. Nothing too fancy, but I'll be happy to get the new VCT-IAH line.

Anglo Large Clawed Otter Jul 24, 2009 7:46 am

I just realized that if JNB-EZE-Europe is a valid S. Africa to Europe award routing with BD, that I can use the :rolleyes:v multi-zone one-way trick to do IAH-ORDx-ISTo-JNBx-WVBo-JNBx-EZEo-(Europe)o-IAH for the same amount of miles as a U.S.--->Africa roundtrip. @:-)

Unlike VCT-IAH, that's travel.
