Nice to know UA isn't superstitious - I have a flight on UA 6666 this month (well July).

I got a pending notice when I applied for the UA Visa, but it came through with an :eek: credit line.

Doesn't mean I wouldn't be lusting while doing so.

My Fidelity Retirement AmEx - decision by mail - came with one more digit than I expected in the credit line.

Probably not a great airport for connections, but I've been in and out maybe ten times in the past two years and it has to be one of the most convenient places to clear security that I've ever been.

That's lame - hope it's items you can get squared away quickly.

A horrible place for connections - it was built as a "drive to your gate" airport. Even before September 11 the pod design was a challenge for the larger airlines. And it was also the site of my only emergency landing - had to clear security to go find scotch for breakfast.

It's just training, or lack of it. How hard would it be to have something like "I don't have the ability to help you with re-booking here at the podium; you can stop by one of the Customer Service Centers or call us when you return home." in the playbook?

I don't agree they're the Wings of Satan; the devil is much smarter than DL ("The greatest trick the Devil ever pulled was convincing the world he didn't exist.") They're more like the pre-breakup AT&T: "We don't care; we don't have to."

The local newspaper is odd - crime report has great detail on the guy booked with a $1,600 bond but adds as a footnote the person booked on a $760,000+ bond.

Indeed, good people get caught up in Satan's lies and deception all the time. But in time, most will come to the light of The Golden Globes, which shall double in their greatness in a few months..
