I miss the old days at my job. Since a reorg and change of my direct manager, it seems like I can't ever do anything right. And it's always over very trivial stuff that really doesn't matter. Seems like I've traded the mostly hands-off manager for the micro-manager.

Plane went MX. Now 90 minutes delayed at best. They said engine part but I don't see anyone by any of the 4 so I'm not so sure. And, of course, we're on a rolling 30 minute delay schedule. :td: |

FAs are talking about going illegal. CBP has an agent stationed on the jetway and she's pissed because someone has to stay until we actually leave. Just spoke with one of the pilots and apparently it is something to do with a piece of insulation that fits between the engine and the mounting strut. They are canibalizing other planes from the other side of the field to try to make this one work. First piece they pulled apparently didn't fit. Trying to pull another one now. |
