G'day box.

People that live in NY/NJ and still don't have EZ-Pass, and block the EZ-Pass lanes by trying to sneak to the front of their cash lanes, deserve to be shot. :-:

Trip home was uneventful last night. CO200 doesn't even serve pretzels in F. There was almost a riot in the front cabin last night. That's just stupid. Time to go wake-up the snack basket thread.

New lines next week to DAY and SBN. Shoot me now.

Good Morning Box.

Looks like it's fixing to be a long week here. Everybody got trained last week, but there are a few execs upstairs who need to be trained sporadically throughout the week. So the bulk of my time is doing floor patrol, hoping people have questions. Since I have the time, I think I'll design an advanced product session on the fly and offer it as an option.

In other news, thanks to MBM3's Facebook, I have found the end of the universe. It is no longer a street corner in Houston with three Starbucks on it.

I think this may be another sign of the collapse of our society.

MSP Travelers, couple questions

Staying at the Sheraton Minneapolis Midtown Hotel
Hotel site and teh google show it to be about five miles away from MSP
Would a taxi really be 25 bucks? as the SPG site suggest

(our meetings are at the CY in Bloomington-about 10 miles)

Looks like the hotel offers free shuttle from the light rail station.
Would assume the light rail is easy enough to use at MSP, anyone know if this is the case.

thanks

Very easy! Take the tram over to the car rental facility and head down to the light rail station from there. It's no more than a 10-20 minute journey from any gate at MSP.

+1, it's the best way to get downtown, even on weekends the frequency was pretty good.

This is the only good thing Blago did for Illinois before he got his sorry a-- impeached. Every mainline toll plaza has high-speed tolling, with the same number of high-speed lanes as there are normal traffic lanes approaching the toll plaza. It made for a couple of years of suck during the construction, but it's been well worth it for the time savings since then.

Today in History: In 1983, War Games was screened for the first time. And, also for the first time, people went  at the role of technology in the movies. It also spawned the Black Hat culture that brings pale nerds to the blistering sun of Las Vegas every year.

Thanks, am sure it's less costly than a taxi. The stop for the Sherato should be easy enough to remember, it's ALE. That'll make a free night for me

And I'll just reverse it to get back to the airport and catch the free CY shutle(looks like I may have to stay there the 2nd night, as I can find nothing less than our rate at either a Hyatt or SPG property)
