True! Plus I am sure that they have plenty of insurance to cover this. Of course being a flood they may not be covered 100%!

For once, I'm not multi-quoting :) but thank you all, very much, for the warm wishes. It should be very exciting.

The current plan is to have a second reception for my mom's family and friends in BKK (which will be one of the honeymoon destinations anyway). One of said friends inherited one of the river palaces along the Chao Phraya (right across from one of the major temples) and my parents had their wedding there back in 1978.

My mother told me specifically "to tell all your flyertalk friends about this - who knows, maybe some of them would be traveling there anyways"... (she's catching on!)

I don't have a specific date yet (and won't until at least the fall, probably) but it will be sometime in late July 2011, and if any of you find yourselves in the BKK area, you would be most welcome at this party of epic proportions!

Probably making a Total Wine run in the next several weeks. Bock? Hefe?

Either is fine with me. I like both styles. I'm in for half. ^

Be safe.

I'm still more than 100 feet above the massively flooded rivers. I did just decided it may be a good time to fill up some extra water bottles ...

I think I am going to take my daughter and go take a picture or two of her in front of 1600 Smith St. In many years time, that should be an interesting photo.

So big question of the day is do I keep my current reservation and go to the hotel at SFO or just sleep in the airport??

I think the hotel is best as I do get back late Wednesday and have to be up and going early Thursday!! Hmmmm...

When would you get to the hotel, and when would you have to get out of bed?

I just remembered that I have to stop by Sears on the way home and pick up my new Craftsman water hose that I got for $20, regularly $50.

^^ Love a bargain.

Oooooooh - BKK-Wedding-DO..... count me in! I could combine it with a trip to ICN to get shoes for MissTeenBrit. Darn it, that would mean I have to bring MissTeenBrit too....:p

Evening Box... from Ewing, NJ. I have a great view of the Trenton Airport from the luxurious Marriott Courtyard, but haven't seen a plane yet today.

Anything interesting happen today?

Just saw a 2010 Census worker walking on my block. I didn't think my area was bad at returning Census forms.

Considering it took all of 60 seconds to fill out you'd think compliance would be high.
