Which is why most of us work on laptops. @:-)@:-)

You ought to try a MacBook Pro... then you get hot nuts, not just warm nuts.

Well back to the sanity of the UA forum for me....I'm going to need a lot of doses to get used to the sheer madness over here.

Plz mods.......this is NOT a TOC violation post. I guess it's going to be a UACO cross posting nightmare soon.

Why would it be a violation? Likely no one here would take "sheer madness" as an insult.

And, truth be told, when I first saw this post quoted, I honestly thought that it was sarcasm or irony directed at the UA forum. De gustibus non est disputandum, my friend.

Alcohol Metabolism
There was a study that confirmed post operative gastric bypass patients will absorb alcohol at a faster rate than people who have not undergone the surgery. It will also take a post operative patient longer to reach sober levels after consuming alcohol than those who have not undergone the surgery

I'm delighted to see that you still have interests in STL. Earlier this very week I confused your handle with mwg25, and asked her if the lucky man was the one in STL.

Just received a call from the Philadelphia Parking Authority for a parking ticket I received a few years ago. I'm guessing the city is really in dire straits. How they got my cell phone #, I have no idea. They wanted to resolve the parking ticket. I told 'em since I now live over 1000 miles away and don't plan on moving back into the city. Their case has been resolved, as far as I am concerned.:D

I'm pretty sure that the Philadelphia Parking Authority was taken over by the state a number of years back in order for the city Republican party to have patronage jobs to offer. Consequently, it's not the city you have to blame, but the PA GOP.

Maybe they found you as part of an exciting TV episode.

That terminal holds tremendous value for DL and their operations at LGA. I'm actually a bit surprised that they're willing to part with it. Of course, with the hopeful significant increase in operations they'll want to consolidate (or maybe US demanded it).

OMG, Box.

I am an idiot.

Just checking items off the to-do list, which included doing a C&P SPG booking as part of a trade on CC. So I do the booking, and then call the hotel to add the other person's name to the reservation. Just as the phone starts ringing, I realize...

I just called HAWAII.

It's 9:30 AM here.

You can do the math. :o

The lady on the other line sounded quite lovely and awake, to her credit. Probably more awake than I am right now. Poor thing.

I used to be the overnight duty manager at a Four Seasons hotel. Believe me, she was just fine with you calling. Overnights are BOOOOOOOOORING and just having the opportunity to talk to someone who isn't drunk is seen as a bonus.

Unless, of course, you WERE drunk. Or she was in the middle of the night audit. Don't sweat it ;)

Anyone going to be in IAH next weekend? :D

I'll be in Los Angeles next weekend. I have not been to the IAH branch of the Yardhouse, but we have been in SAT and Pasadena (CA) and give it a hearty ^.

Yardhouse is where I first met 1664. :D
