Where is this place with bacon and cheese scones?

The original one is out in Yountville, Napa wine country. It's Thomas Keller's breakfast cafe that sits down the street from The French Laundry.

Perhaps it's like those pregnant women who eat clay (I think 60 Minutes did a segment several years back). Sometimes, you just need to gnaw on something that isn't really food.

Some in Teh Box may recall the Wawa sandwich maker who decided to engage me in conversation regarding her penchant for eating dirt that she held on to after pregnancy. Would not have been nearly as memorable or creepy had she been making someone else's sandwich while we were having this "conversation".

We are having steaks as well, and we do have Shiner in the fridge (courtesy of Copa), but I can't be bothered to cook vegetables only I will eat.

If you are thinking of anything other than Bock for the next trip I make to teh Total Wine, please advise. They had something like four varieties.

In related news, both of the Flying Fish varieties you brought over were good; thank you again. I enjoyed the red label more than I did the gray, and I will be looking into whatever the red label was for future beer consumption. Whatever that says about my beer palate, I've not a clue.

G'day from Asia, Box.

CO will be getting my cell phone bill this month - their res agents screwed up making changes on my award booking, resulting in about 200 minutes worth of international airtime used on my cell at $1.99/minute.

Separately, if a person can sell "inflight products" on CO, I demand the right to sell "inflight services". All I ask for is an hour of unfettered use of a lavatory plus one PA announcement about the services my BBDS can provide to "generous" customers.

Would the FA making the announcement then be your pimp?

If you're on the 762, you can take over the party lav in the middle of the plane and service at least 3 customers at once.

CO has local numbers for other countries, so I am not sure you will get anywhere with them paying your phone bill.

And I went 5-0 in racquetball today, even after mowing my lawn first
