UPS is terrible. I had a "Next Day Air" package that was supposed to be delivered today. It made it to the local sort facility last night around 11pm and sat there until about 12:15 this afternoon when it was finally scanned. Needless to say, they've now rescheduled delivery for tomorrow. How does "Next Day Air" = 2 days in transit?

Hello Box.

Has anyone ever flown the KLM Privatair IAH-AMS all C class service? Any impressions? Any recommendations?

I'm scoping out an itin to use miles from iah to Europe and am finding this available at the lowest level of miles...

Which would be 'better'....KLM C or KLM Privatair C? One day, both are available.

Economic downturn at UPS, FedEx, and USPS has meant a downturn in quality of service.

I recently had a similar experience with same delivery method and labled the service "Next Day, Air".

Then why offer a "guaranteed" (benefit #1) next day delivery option? I didn't pay for the shipping on this item and I don't need it today, so it's not a big deal - it's just poor service.

For those wondering about the LX 333 v. 343 doing ORD-ZRH, after some searching, I think I found the issue. It appears that either LX mistyped their schedule change, or they loaded the aircraft backwards.

The 333 shows up 1x weekly (Thursdays), while the 343 shows up the rest of the days.

I'm a bit slow...so does this mean the A333 only runs thurs? or it is incorrect that it runs Thurs?

When does the A333 run on the ord-zrh? (if at all)

Does the LX A333 run to other destinations in the USA?

GVA-JFK and the 2 ZRH-JFK flights are 333s. MIA, LAX and (soon to start) SFO are all 343s.

I'm still confused about what LX is sending to ORD this summer...

It doesn't matter whether you need the item today or not - with items that are shipped Next Day Air (arrival before 10:30 a.m. in my town) to me, I modify my personal daily schedule to be home when the item arrives.

The way the LX schedule reads, the 333 should be 6x weekly on ORD-ZRH with the 343 filling in the other day of the week. However, it is actually showing up in the different booking engines as a 333 1x a week and the 343 filling in the other 6 days. I believe it is an LX error and I bet they'll sort it out soon.
